I have dedicated 30 years of my life to the study of nutrition

Like many, I found nutrition due to my own health issues and challenges. From the age of around 11 I started getting very bad acne. It looked like I had been shot in the face with a blunderbuss. I went to every imaginable doctor, dermatologist and specialist and nothing really helped. When I was 15 I was sat round at a friends house one night, feeling sorry for myself. His mum gave me a book called ‘Fit For Life’ and said ‘unless you change what is on the inside, nothing will change on the outside. I read this thing cover to cover and that was the lightbulb moment for me. I spent the next 6-7 year reading thousands (literally) of books on nutrition, using myself as a guinea pig and truly living and breathing the subject. I became OBSESSED!! I then went on to do a degree in Human Nutrition, a degree in Herbal Medicine, and a post graduate degree in Nutritional Medicine at the University of Surrey.

I have been doing this since 1992 and I have seen it all come and go several times over. The fads, myths and trends come around in cycles and my patients and clients have struggled with the same issues over and over. I use 30 years of experience and a 9 year in depth education to guide you through this maze and show you in a simple, straight forward, common sense way what actually works! - Oh and yes...the acne did clear and then some!!

No nonsense, evidence based nutrition, just made easy

I think it is fair to say that the modern World of nutrition has become far too divided, polarised, and downright confusing for most people. There is so much noise - much of which has come from industry, fads, and bias.

My true passion and calling is taking the complex science, and making it simple, easy to understand, and to package it in a way that you can actually use to improve your health - without all the nonsense. I aim to always give you clarity.

Five random facts....

  1. I hate avocado's. Shove that instagram!! Well...I can eat them when they are heavily flavoured, ie guacamole, but on their own....hideous devil's food.
  2. I used to play bongo's alongside house DJ's in clubs!
  3. My last meal would always be....SUSHI!! Absolutely adore the stuff and if I do say so myself, I am quite the connoisseur.
  4. I have lived all over the World - places like Japan & Malaysia, I now reside in deepest darkest Cambridgeshire. I choose peace and quiet over the city mayhem any day.
  5. Cat person!
